Chris is reading Warm Bodies (Warm Bodies, #1)
Clearly a post-zombie-apocalypse version of Romeo and Juliette, and totally ridiculous, but funny so far.

Chris is reading NPR Driveway Moments: All About Animals: Radio Stories That Won't Let You Go
Started listening to this in the car with kids. It's a collection of short radio pieces from NPR, dealing in some way with animals. Some pieces are funny, some sad, and some educational. Our hands-down favorite so far is the opening piece about the toad-licking dog. Funny story!

Chris is finished with Les Misérables
Finally... it is finished. Only took two years! If it dragged out any longer, I, myself, would have started feeling like one of "les miserables". It did come together for a strong finish, which redeemed *some* of the slogging.
