I do appreciate nicks protectiveness over bree but the scene where he confronted sel after the 2nd trial made me dislike him a bit.
What's weird is that eventhough sel was rude to bree and cruel to her, I just can't hate him, I actually can't help but root for the two of them, it feels like a slow burn we're still at the enemies part and I'm loving, I genuinely hope for the 2 of them to be end game

So far so good, can't say I'm enjoying this style of writing but the story is captivating
Oh and I'm definitely enjoying bree and nick's relationship but damn I do wish for more of sel and bree, I don't know what couple I'm rooting for, but I can't help but lean just a tiny bit towards sel eventhough they're enemies right now

but the I'm just not invested, i could careless about any of the characters, i don't care for the story either, i just want to finish it tbh ..

Moment with orian in the airport, just to do that on the plane with Liesel, like what? Why? What's the point!!!
I don't know it just felt wrong, written for those who criticised her not for the story and the development of the characters
The friendships she built were absolutely marvellous, they're love for her and support no matter what made me emotional
The story made sense and the history as well

I understand the author was under criticism for leaving ou LGBTQ representation in her series, in all honesty I Don't understand why she was criticised for that. But, adding those scenes in the plane felt pointless and absolutely unnecessary
Actually they felt wrong, like she was grieving the 1st time, and the 2nd time which was even worse she had an absolutely beautiful

It was good, especially the last 50 pages
The ending felt real, like yes the good guys won but not entirely, they still have to fight and keep doing what they do to keep the world safe, they are far from finished, and the bad guys got what they wanted too.
Surprising I enjoyed the politics, history, and the story of the magic, the maw-mawths.
Although I absolutely do not think I would've finished the book if I didn't

So far so good, glad to see that orion didn't die (obviously), and to have the dream team back again
EL's thoughts seem so humain and real, even when she knows she's facing death she asked her friends to leave but they told her they'd stay and she didn't ask them again, she didn't want to be alone.
Happy to see her treat orion the way she always did.
His family is still a mystery to me at this point.

Well now that's interesting, wasn't expecting prion's mom to be who she is, we got to see more of orions life past and in fact present, if he lived
Tbh at this point I still can't believe he's dead I'm just hoping there's more..
It was lovely to see her allies, and their family, how they treated her.

It fine so far, although I genuinely did not understand the need to have that scene in the plane, seriously! It has been a little over a week since orion "died", and worst thing is the moment it ended she only talked about orion in her head, i'm just confused.
It just felt like a filler, people criticised the writer for the lack of it so she added it in, it felt pointless unnecessary an out of character.

I didn't feel the chemistry at all, there banter was great, funny and interesting, It was quite obvious what was going to happen, enemies to lovers thing, the enemies to friends thing felt wonderful , perfect even, but when we got to the stage of lovers it just didn't click for me

I understand how she feels about her mom, I lost a parent too, we all deal with it differently, but my god it felt too much, she hurts the people around her and justify it with "they just don't understand ", it was so irritating I just want to be done with this book
I felt sorry for her bff and her step-mom, it did not feel like she being considerate to her dead mother's memory and legacy I just felt that she was mea

Okay, I had high expectations for rthis one, I heard really good things about it so I didn't really read the synopsis I just dived right in.
The first 100 pages were enjoyable, got me really excited, and then it just started to go a different way.
It feels somehow too young for, I usually read YA and I rarely feel that, maybe bc I'm selective with my YA choices maybe not I don't know.
