I know this book is probably over two decades old but I am EXHAUSTED of reading books about post-pandemic apocalypses. Satoshi Kon is an absolute fave of mine though so it’s essential reading. (Also Ghost in the Shell is a fantastic anime, so this is a dream author/artist duo.)

As someone who’s had a prescription for Propranolol for 10 years, I can safely say that I have no idea what the fuck Hugh Howey thinks it is? It’s a beta blocker that barely mitigates my panic attacks, it’s not nearly capable of memory erasure.
