Zippity do Dah > Recent Status Updates

It’s so good so far. All the descriptions of food make me hungry. It’s already almost making me cry.

The core themes seem to be connection, communication, and control and I like how each story explores the themes from different ways.

The main character decides to think of the android using the Turkish “O” pronoun and then the author immediately switches to using the English they/them for the android. What happened to o? Why not continue to use the Turkish pronoun? Feels weird to me.

I was wrong, he is not yet a vampire. He might be now, but it hasn’t been confirmed yet.

My god, he is finally a vampire.

I can’t wait for this book to be over. The characters are annoying and Vlad isn’t a vampire yet.

Jesus just told a priest that Erik hates himself.

Started crying, just a little

I like how the chapters in the section Both Sides are split into 1A and 1B, 2A and 2B, etc. The part in the book about 45mm records and which song is better ties into this, and it’s thematically consonant with what’s happening in Sadie and Sam’s lives and the name of the game. It also makes me think of choose your own adventure games, like I could read one half of each chapter and still have a full story.

I’m enjoying this book so far

Listening to this as an audiobook - Love Never Dies the book version lets go lets go!

Some notes already:
- you’re really trying to convince me that Erik didn’t kill those people in the musical, or he killed one of them but it was an accident? Haha right as if. He definitely killed people.
- he runs around Coney Island in a latex clown mask and clown suit????????? HAHAHAHAHAHA

I got this book sopping wet and it fell apart into two halves — one half containing each story.
