I just wish this were played straight, instead of as a comedy.

This edition had terrible editing, and is absolutely riddled with typos. I've noticed around a dozen already.

I was expecting a fantasy story. This is a spoof or a parody, and it's not what I wanted.

Strange, perhaps overly-whimsical prose.

A great ghost scene and a prediction of a disaster that reminded me of The Dead Zone.

Now I see where Sanderson got this line he used in Mistborn.

Incompetent writing.

Erin's making her move on Chip.

Making some good progress now, and things are moving in the plot.

The title of the book is a lie. Batteries are, in fact, included. Instant-charging batteries! Forget the robot, the inventor could get rich on this battery technology alone!

Some exciting stuff here!
