Been waiting for the audiobook and the library got me this early. Guess there go reading plans

Trying to make limited progress today so I can roll over books to July 1 but may not make it

Part 2 picked up - yay 👍👍

Yeah not loving our FMC's sister - our FMC deserves better. She is lovely

Part 1 done - not sure if I am invested in the plot yet as not a lot of background was provided to the world. But there is a mystery here so I continue - want to know what the characters are talking about.

Ok the narrator has chosen this old man cowboy accent thing for our MC. Not sure I am liking the choice - may switch back to physical read only. My wallet may appreciate that choice so … 🤔🤔

I may have given up on the day to read this. Oops - but at least the book is going great

I am liking some of the scenes that the anime had to cut out.

Enjoying this - audio is on audible plus for another week or so so will try that as well for a little while to test it out

Got this from the library today and somehow started this without really realizing it. Ah well ... guess I have to finish now.

Author manages moments of real poignancy, quite a feat for a history book IMO
