After finishing my second Freida McFadden aka Sara Cohen novel I checked other female Thriller writers; it’s astounding Gillian Flynn has only written three!! Not surprisingly, “Gone Girl” was, and remains, one of my favorite all-time thrillers.
So, while I’m waiting for a couple of other books to be available, I’m gonna charge through both of Flynn‘s books. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Libby audio books!!!

MFM’s Hard-to-Kill Karen Kilgarrif and Georgia Hardstark would have a field day with Trisha getting involved with somebody with this many RED FLAGS but I know there’ll be twists. If it’s anything like the first book of McFadden’s that I read, “Dear Debbie” and P.L. is who I think s(he) is, and perhaps elements of Charlotte McConaghy’s “Wild Dark Shore”, then this will have some welcoming turns.

Ron Swanson is 88% Nick Offerman. Yet, far less laissez-faire attitudes when it comes to political or social involvement and far more of health-conscious regarding foodstuffs - though “Parks and Recs” entire slant on all things FOOD was hilariously warped.
Regardless, not quite as LoL funny as others Comedians’ Memoirs (only a quarter in), yet very insightful and I’m looking forward to more from Offerman.

One-fifth in and I’m not sure why the Perp is after a teen African American young woman? Perhaps land / property ownership? Inheritance?
Intrigued!
She’s shown Amelia Sach-like creativity in escaping UnSub initially and, should she live, it’d be great for her to possibly become part of the team 10 or 12 years from the time of this story…?

I think I’m getting used to his SOPs, and the person that I believe to be the killer is someone that we’re not actually supposed to suspect. We’re following the red herring, while the real killer is closer to the good guys than we think. Also, they’ve managed to get rid of Del Rey, one of the best characters in the series, but I don’t really think he’s gone…Deaver’s SOPs ~ sometimes I’m right?

Not surprisingly, Charles Ingalls was one of the Squatters allowed to steal land from The Osage while in Kansas. They left months before the abilities to buy 900 acres for $50 down on a total $330 (he’d already paid $35), yet hard to root for them?? In their defense, the Gub’MINT was saying it was awwww’rite, so technically they weren’t breaking any laws.

“Controversial” sexual habits of the late great king, commonplace throughout the globe just never read about it from Natan’s Scribe position; recording without judgment nor editorializing. Kind of like what journalists were 50 years ago?
“A Game of Thrones” made incest sexy?
Also, loving female perspectives, David’s 1st wife, which are less than non-existent in most religious historical texts.

Witty. Real. Love to hate characters. Hate to lose others.
So I saw Emma Thompson on The Graham Norton Show and immediately downloaded novel. The character she plays is only tangential in this 1st novel. PLUS “Slow Horses” since it’s by the same author. (Different Series)

I only had this for 14 days, I could’ve finished, but it was so depressing. Vitally important to know all the places globally where toxins are a daily part of many communities’ waking (and sleeping) lives. Fraser’s connections to this and the growing numbers of extremely violent people is not to be taken lightly. The saddest part, like micro-plastics, another man-made horror, there’s truly NO WHERE to hide.

A bit juvenile-HSy with all the in house jealousies reading more like a Soap Opera in many respects. Unless one of the Creepers ends up being a Perp in this or another subsequent mystery? Or perhaps even a victim? The actual Detective Work, historical and cultural fictions are intriguing so I hope it finishes firmly rooted in a Rankin Culmination.
