This book is a lot different than I was expecting. With only 100 pages left, I'm starting to skim the chapters a lot

This book is a bit unrealistic. Every person Kimi speaks to magically knows English perfectly. It's too convenient plot wise

This book is super fluffy, but I've noticed that there are a lot of really long sentences and dialouges, so it takes some getting used to.

What happened to this book?? It's like the author used a random plot generator for the last 100 pages...

This confession came way way too soon. I get it. They've known each other for years, but he still should have included more scenes of Frank questioning his feelings about Joy so that the readers can actually see that he's been struggling. Yes, they've had many scenes where they hung out, but we were never shown that Frank thought of Joy in a romantic way prior to the confession. It just doesn't make sense.

"For most kids this is would be the moment where we tear each other's clothes off and do it right on the beach. But Brit's not like most kids"

I get what Frank is trying to say, I really do, but this gives me so many "Not-like-other-girls" and "We're-SO quirky-and-different" feels.

I really liked this chapter. It showed a lot more of Britt's character and personality.

Britt is kind of boring. Maybe It's too early to judge her character, but that's how I feel. Honesty their whole relationship is very unexciting

As a minority living in the US, this part is too real. Some people in my family will make not nice comments about other minorities (It's rare, but still happens). It comes off as lighthearted joking but in reality, it's pretty racist. I definitely try to shut down these types of comments when they're made.

Wow, this book got so much better. Glad I didn't drop it. Leon and Tiffy are adorable.

This started out kind of rough. The way Leon's POV is written is really weird. He doesn't use pronouns often. I hope that's explained. But it's getting better.
