It was odd. As a girl, Sophie would have shriveled with embarrassment at the way she was behaving. As an old woman, she did not mind what she did or said. She found that a great relief.

I, too, will be this way when I'm old. I can already tell by how I act now. XD

There are so many great scenes in this book but I love the dinner party with Sean and Tommy Falk so much because it’s just so warm and happy right before things get ugly again

This book really needs a map. I can’t keep track of what places are what and where

This has so many aspects I love and the plot is fun but I am not as drawn into the story as I was with the bone houses which is weird

It’s kind of trash that 50 pages of this book are just excerpts from the other books in the series and not my story. This ending felt super rushed and anti-climatic…

Andy is so good at narrating these characters that sometimes I forget it’s him narrating and not the actual actors from the films

Greaaaaat this book is going to make me scared of carnivals and festivals and fairs and circuses and amusement parks and all the adjacent things

I adore that Legolas and Gimli’s rivalry is in the book xD xD
