Mark and Bryon are best friends. Bryon narrates and introduces the characters. Mark was raised in Bryon's family but they're not actually brothers. Mark seems like more of the daredevil, and he sometimes breaks laws. The two of them are greasers. They save one of their friends, M&M, from getting jumped. Then, Bryon finds M&M's sister who apparently has grown up beautiful. I think she'll be in the story more later.

Harry got to the Order of the Phoenix headquarters. He also had to go to his own hearing. Everyone got to Hogwarts and Dumbledore is acting weird. Hagrid is also missing. They have O.W.L.S. to worry about. Harry is really stressed out, and he also has to go to detention with an awful woman named Umbridge. She makes him write "I must not tell lies," and she is trying to convince people Voldemort isn't back.

Eliza is finished with High School and on her way to college. Luke, her friend that she dated before he left for two years, will be back in only a couple of months. In one of her college classes, a guy named Darren is totally hitting on Eliza, and he is being very persistent despite her obvious uninterest. Luckily, another guy named Sawyer helps her out and she is instantly confused about him.

Clara certainly is different. In fact, she's like two different people. When she's helping others, she is brave and strong. When she is thinking more about herself, she is shy and timid. Her family seems to notice this, and after a failed try at school, they bring her back home. Everyone knows her as the little nurse now. Soon, she's going to try going to school again.

Everyone is noticing how Clara has a way with animals. She's almost the vet of the area, and she's only a child. Everyone knows she's different, and her future could hold a lot.

Eliza has been questioning a lot lately. She went on a group date with Jason, and Luke was also there. Luke is being really nice to Eliza, and she loves every moment they share together. One of the things she was questioning was her faith. But, when her great-grandmother shows up in her dreams and teaches her an important lesson, Eliza's faith is stronger than ever. Now, she has other things to worry about.

Clara's father tells her a lot of different stories. These stories teach her a lot about history and geography. Her father's stories have to do with his own experiences. Suddenly, these stories seem to trouble Clara. She doesn's like when people feel any sort of pain. Her parents are thinking that she is very different from her other siblings and other kids.

He is still angry at them, and some are trying to keep information away from him.

The world is completely different in this book than now. Everything is very organized and people don't have individuality at all. There is an unspeakable word, and I think that it is "I." The main character is a very curious person that seems to know something isn't right. He has preferences, which is considered wrong in this world.

Although Harry was the last champion to save his hostage from the lake, he was awarded second place because of his determination to save both Ron and Fleur's sister. Harry doesn't have to worry about the tasks for a few months now, and soon he will be meeting up with Sirius.

With help from Dobby, Harry seems to be doing okay at the second task. He gets gills and flippers to help him save Ron. When he finds Ron in the lake, however, he realizes that the other people haven't been saved yet. Harry ends up saving Fleur's sister as well, even though the merpeople didn't want him to.

Harry, Hermionie, and Ron are still trying to figure out what Harry should do for the second task. Then, while they are searching for options, Ron and Hermionie have to leave suddenly. Harry keeps trying to find how to survive the task, but he falls asleep. When he wakes up, Dobby shows up and tells him it is already the morning of the task.

Harry, Hermionie, and Ron are all stressing about how to get Harry through the second task. They know Harry will have to be able to breathe under the Black Lake, but they have no idea how to do it. Also, they are trying to figure out why Barty Crouch was in Snape's office and Harry has a close call with Snape and Filch. Luckily, Moody helped him get out of trouble.

Harry has an unexpected task where he has to take someone to the Yule Ball, which is a tradition. He takes Pavarti, and Ron and Hermionie seem to have a disagreement. After the ball, Rita Skeeter, a journalist, takes personal information from people and mixes it up for a story. This affects many people. Hermionie reminds Harry to figure out how he can prepare for the next task.

A lot has happened with Ponyboy and the gang. Dally, Ponyboy, and Johnny ended up getting in the middle of a fire. Dally and Ponyboy weren't hurt too bad, but Johnny was in critical condition. People have found out what Johnny did, but the three boys didn't get in trouble because they were heroes in the fire. Things seem to go back to normal for a while, and most of the gang is getting ready for a rumble.

Ron has finally apologized to Harry after the first task. Harry performed very well at the task and is in a much better mood lately now that Ron is his friend again. Hermione is still going on and on about house elves and how they are being treated poorly. However, nobody else seems to care much about this. Hermione, Harry, and Ron are now trying to figure out what the second task will be and how they can prepare.

Jess has a great time at the museum with his teacher, (and crush) Ms. Edmunds. He can't wait to tell Leslie about it and also apologize for not inviting her. However, when he gets to his house, his family is surprised that he is even alive. Because of the rain, the river had risen tremendously, and Leslie's body was found. Jess is in denial that his best friend was now gone.

It has been raining a lot where Leslie and Jess live. This worries Jess a lot, but not Leslie. Leslie is very adventurous and would do anything to go to Terabithia every day. Jess decides to go to a museum with his teacher who he has a bit of a crush on. He feels like he should invite Leslie, but he wants alone time with his crush.

Johnny and Ponyboy decide to go to the movies, where they meet two girls named Cherry and Martia. They become friends. After the movie, Johnny and Ponyboy get into some trouble with the socs. They tell Dally about it and he helps them out to get them away from anyone who would turn them in for the crime that was committed. Johnny, Dally, and Ponyboy try to keep where they are a secret from the rest of the gang.

Jess and Leslie have figured out why Janice was crying. They feel bad for her and seem to be able to relate to her more now. Jess and Leslie also went to church on Easter together and admit to being best friends.

Jess doesn't feel like it's Christmas time when he goes back to his family. They are insensitive about his feelings. However, when he's with Leslie, he forgets about all of that and feels happy. Leslie and Jess decide to help Leslie's parents paint a room in their house, and they all get to know each other better. School starts again, and Leslie and Jess discover that something is wrong with the bully, Janice Avery.

Jess and Leslie want revenge on Janice Avery, the bully. They decide to write a note from the cutest boy in school and send it to her. So far, it seems like things aren't going to go well with Janice. It's Christmas time soon, so Jess and Leslie give each other presents. Leslie gave Jess watercolors and Jess gave Leslie a puppy, which they named the prince of Terabithia.

It seems now that Leslie and Jess already have a new enemy at school, an older girl named Janice Avery. But, because of this, Leslie and Jess sort of create a bond and become better friends. They decide to make a sort of place just for themselves. This place is near both of their homes and far in to the woods. They even have a rope over a river to get to their new land where they are the king and queen: Terabithia.

Jess Aarons is ready for the race. He was going to win, until Leslie Burke, the new girl that is also his neighbor, beats him and the rest of the boys. It's not hard to tell that Leslie is a very unique girl. She is already a teacher's pet and gets made fun of for multiple things. Jess then sees Leslie crying and tries to see what is wrong, but she runs in to the bathroom.
