I'm having a really hard time connecting to the characters. They all feel so distant and cold and I don't like it. :\ Especially Alessandra. Her character is very 2D and there's just something missing that's making her 2D rather than 3D. I just can't connect with her for some reason. Even the scenery is so cold and distant. Blegh. I'll have to keep reading.
