I could have sworn I've read some other books, but I guess it's been a busy season of not-keeping-track. Oh well.

I liked this better then the anime other then the MOST AKWARD SEX SCENE, EVER.

Charming, for what it was.

Another insomina fueled readingfest! Started a little slow, getting better.

I described this book (and the other books in this series) to someone else as "galloping towards twenty years of 'wouldn't it be cool?' " That said, I still like the character moments in this series, just...not the way the plot goes, so much.

Let's hear it for insomnia!

There's something about the main character of this series. I'm not sure what it is, but something.

I did a fair bit of nostalgia reading instead of sleeping again. The prose is a lot rougher then I remember.

And I read this thing in addition to having the crazy notion of finishing ALL THE SEVENWATERS.

Things I would also pay to see: a series written almost soley from the perspective of the person marrying into this crazyass family.

Okay, so I know her thing is BOYS AND GIRLS, HOOKIN IT UP, but. I would pay to see this woman do a gay romance! I would pay to see Johny's story or one of the girls. My expectation is that's bloody unlikely, but I would probably enjoy the fluff.

There was an orgy of Marillier last night.I guess my brain liked the candy the nice lady was offering.

Recommended by friends, slow to start, but turning very satisfying.

Interesting, but only notale to those interested in this period's animation, or creativity, I think.

A fun romp of a book, that I kind of wish was expanded in some ways, but a great light and fast read.

I was very pleased by the crazy family shenanigans more then anything else. Also the mice. I do recommend checking out the Field Guide to the InCrypted 'verse on Seanan's website if you haven't!

Not bad, I guess, but I think I'm ruined for most mysteries that aren't novela-or-greater length.

Strangely, the ebook version is less comforting to my mental state then the physical copy. Needs must. Still a doted-upon comfort reread.

I am less certian of the pacing then the characterzation, but this book was still excellent, and I can't wait for book three.
