super good, just kind of creepy.

Given to me via the Yuletide bookswap! Haven't read this particular book by the author before, I'm hoping for good things.

Felix Castor, you are the unluckiest bastard. I guess that's what makes you so entertaining.

I'm not sure how I felt about the ending...I kind of wish it was spread across 2 more books, because I feel like the author didn't have as much time to show off the characters in the same way with adding /even more of them./ Still, I liked the basic premise for the main trio.

Something about the book clicked at page 120 or so. Iiiinteresting.

Reread this because I could! And because I am a huge, dorky Korval kick. Not my favorite, but I wanted the refresher.

So far, this book is a good deal clearer then God's War. Finding the author's wiki of terms helped a lot.

I really, really wish this book had a map in it.

Better written: like the mage and prince. Disliked how the B plots were kind of ignored until book 3.

Definitely not as well paced as the last one, but not a bad book. Also didn't really hit the level of tension on the last book.

I don't think I like this one quite as much as the last one but I still like it a lot.

There is a dramatic twist! That I am not particularly fond of! Except it totally works with the story in general, so I guess I can't object to it as much as I might. Other then that, this series is still one of my favorites, ur-Numar and twists aside. Kind of interesting to see the past events that trigger future ones.

I liked the plot, if not the characters, if that makes sense, and there was a bit of jumpiness that was probably all the skips.

Feelings. EEVERYWHERE. Skip this one.

Someone proposed the theory to me this book is like a Disney movie. I say it's just kind of awfully written.

Basically, shameless idcrack is why I picked this up aaannd I refuse to feel bad about that so far.

Saw the author dong a KS drive for the 4th book in this series. felt curious enough to buy. Liking it so far.

Already, this book makes more sense now that I've been to Portland once. Still fantsatic, and I mean that in the feel of it.
