Holy shit, Grey is terrifying. He is not "aloof" or "mysteriously sexy", he is a walking nightmare. I can't even express how terrifying I find it that after she passed out he took her back to his hotel and UNDRESSED HER. What the fuck? No, no, no. Not okay. DO NOT WANT.

WHY IS THIS BOOK SO SHITTY?

I had to convince my local library to hunt this one down and check this out of another library's system for me. It was a huge pain in the ass, so I hope this one is a good read.

All right, stop. No. I can take a lot of bullshit, but I draw the line at being told someone licking your face is hot. Say no to face licking.

"I reach down and touch the fur I'd seen on the floorboards the other day. It belongs to Nick. I glance at him to make sure he's not looking and sneak the fur into my pocket. No matter what happens I'll have it to remind me of him."

THAT IS SO CRAZY I CAN'T EVEN PROCESS IT. WHAT. JUST WHAT.

Attention everyone: I just turned this "tense" scene into a dick joke and honestly, I probably just improved this story. You're welcome.

"The air in the room is stale and smells like crusted-up blood and doubt." WHAT DOES DOUBT SMELL LIKE? THAT'S NOT A SMELL.

Wow, this book is really lackluster.

Only 26 pages in and we've already hit the "evil blonde girl whose here just to make our main character look better" cliche! I disapprove, book! Angry faces all around.

Maybe I'm just a stereotypical unhappy person, but I'm not impressed with this "wisdom".
