i’m getting pissed off LOL the way murakami writes about sex and women is very obviously from a man’s perspective and it bothers me. if i get one more explicit description of the mc’s (who is a minor) d*ck i’m dnf-ing

why am i starting to hate this 😐 this last chapter was so uncomfortable to read. the 15 yr old mc got a hand job from a 21 yr old woman and the author just had to make it weirder with the woman saying “i wish i was your older sister” after and then the mc was like yeah me too… like wtf

this is okay it’s a little bizarre? and i’m not sure how i feel about it yet

could’ve done without the bit where kafka explains every body part he washes in the shower. also i really do dislike teen male protagonists they’re kind of all written the same and just give me the ick. but regardless i’m still enjoying the book, a little wacky but intriguing
