First book I can remember reading that would be improved by the excision of every female character. The women in this novel are written so badly it's actually making me angry. At this point I'm only hanging in there to get to the end for the satisfaction of seeing Vercingetorix strangled in a Roman prison cell.

Vercingetorix is, as written, the least sympathetic "hero" I can remember reading about. I am solidly on Team Caesar.

This is one of the dumbest things I've ever read. (And yet I'm still reading, so.)
