Regardless of the outcome, I’ll probably listen to the rest of this tonight after the Red Sox game to wind down. Yankees Suck.

There was a death so shocking and so casually addressed I sat in my car for five minutes in shock. I was more upset than most of the actual characters in the book WHO SHOULD HAVE BEEN VERY UPSET, I MIGHT ADD

It’s so weird getting this far into a book about Hell and there not being a reference to a demon wearing a Yankees hat.

Took a sick day today, much of that was spent listening to this book. I made the mistake, at one point, of momentarily dozing off as one does during convalescence while the audiobook still played. When I snapped back to consciousness, I could not tell what was reality and what was a dream for quite some time and am still not sure I have the right of it. Also, my inner monologue is now that of a Victorian Gentleman.

I read before the Red Sox game because I’m already sleepy and probably won’t be able to afterward.

But I hit another twist so who knows.

Truly hell.

Thinking about getting the sprayed edge art tattooed on me, idk.

Honestly, I never want it to end. Unfortunately, it’s on loan from Libby, so 😔

You should’ve seen me while I was catching up on Jeopardy tonight and this book was one of the questions.

Between this and the other book, I got into some dark magicky shit today.

5.75 hours of listening to the audiobook passed before I realized what happened. Scary good. (It’s not a scary book, I only mean… whatever. You get it.)

Just got to chapter five and briefly considered emailing a couple professors who suggested I go for my MFA to ask if they hated me.

I’m having a good time but goddamn these got so long, right? The first couple felt like delightful romps, now they’re like delightful road trips, if that makes sense. I’m not sure it’ll affect the rating but I feel like at long last is lasting a little long with this one.
