Finished "The Magician's Nephew". I enjoyed learning about the backstory of Narnia and didn't find the use of dated language too difficult to comprehend. Although the series draws upon events from the Bible, I thought the concept of magical rings was innovative. Now, I'm currently reading "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe".

I throughly enjoyed reading this book a few years ago and so far, it has not disappointed.

Another book that I bought years ago and never properly invested time in. So far it's okay, but the writing definitely reflects that this is Green's debut novel.

Trawled through my collection and stumbled across this book. I attempted to read it a few years ago but never understood what was happening - I was definitely more invested in the hype and popular quotes than appreciating the novel as a whole. However, I can now say that I am really enjoying it and look forward to my next reading session.

Anthony Cheng is on page 123 of 372 of Royal Tour (The Potion Diaries, #2)
After unexpectedly falling in love with the first book (The Potion Diaries) from Zoella's 2016(?) book club, I picked this up straight away but only just got round to reading it. At first, the fast pace felt disjointed, especially with several plot lines manifesting. However, it's become much more enjoyable and remains an easy read.

Approaching the end of the book and Alderton is coming full circle. Her growth and maturity is reflected by a more poetic writing style, which fosters positivity but may be a little bit too much in some places (in my opinion).

Still enjoying the book. The only issue is that when talking back and forth between certain (romantic) relationships, the timeline becomes harder to map.

So far, I am thoroughly enjoying this book, which is the first memoir I have read. Normally, I gravitate towards fiction, but the hype surrounding this release and the cover caught my attention. Rather than simply reciting life events in chronology, Alderton intertwines outrageous stories with deep, pensive moments, making this fun, unpredictable and insightful.

I’m really enjoying the book so far. The conundrum that Bella faces with wanting to remain in contact with Jacob whilst not leading him on reflects several experiences that I have been through. Especially, Jacob‘s willingness to wait, despite her resistance, is hauntingly familiar. However, some phrases or thought processes described are quite vague and confusing, disrupting the flow here and there for me.

Last year, I re-read Twilight and never got round to finishing the series. Now, I’ve started New Moon and I’m thoroughly enjoying it. I remember not understanding Bella’s heartbreak upon initial reading (which is expected, I was 11 at the time), but everything is so poetic! Some parts I’ve re-read to fully process the emotions described but otherwise an enjoyable and easy read!

I really enjoyed reading the development of Harry and Ginny's relationship, despite finding the onset of feelings odd at the beginning of the book (maybe I'm just a sucker for romance). However, I dislike Harry's abrupt tendencies, as displayed when he runs to Dumebledore's office and immediately accuses Snape for betraying his family. I guess it's an accurate representation of teenagers but it irks me nonetheless.

Harry has just been set "homework" by Dumbledore to unveil Slughorn's secret conversation with Tom Riddle Jr. in the past.
