Start off all over the place, but after a few chapters it gets interesting. Man, the guys in Soul Coughing sounded like dicks.

All in all, I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series. The only issue is that being that GDT is a director, the book reads like a movie. Normally that's not bad, but it hops between multiple characters and can get hard to keep track. Would make an awesome film though...

This book is hilarious. It's history, but useless and fun.

Veeeeery slowly but surely I'm reading this book. It's quite interesting so far, to see how the birth of certain heroes came about during times of war, political struggle, or just the trend of the day.

It's a very informative book thus far, both on the comic book lore of Superman, Batman and the like, and it involves an interesting perspective on how some of the heroes' actions reflect our real world situations of the time. Yet...it's a slow read for me for some reason. I've been pre-occupied I guess.
