It’s getting better. I still hate how she lets her family treat her like garbage and never confronts them on any issue—no matter how small.

After reading so many books about strong female protagonists, I’m quite disappointed with Fixie as a character. She lets everyone in her life run over her and never stands up for herself. I’ve still got a ways to go, but I hope that she develops as a character to be stronger but also in a realistic way.
