This series has been an incredible ride. My babies, Sage and Alex, have been through so much. I just needed them to have a lovely ending! The question is, do they or don't they? I'll never tell!

However, I will say, I wanted to shake people in this story and hug them and laugh with them. There was a whole lot of plotting and treatying and reveals!

The writing was just as good as the other books! The world is one filled with political intrigue and about women standing up for themselves and most of

...I finished this and it was...okay?

I LOVED the first book and I adored the sequel but this one really fell flat for me. The first 30% felt pointless and was pretty boring, then came the interesting part which was eventually ruined for me because I knew who the villain was the moment we meet this character. It was obvious this character was hiding something and I just couldn't enjoy it fully because I kept waiting for the rest of the characters to keep up and figure it out, but they didn't unt

3 stars for predictability.

There was an assassination attempt and the vast majority of the book was about figuring out who did it and why. The problem was that I figured out who it was from the very beginning so it was frustrating reading about everyone being like “Is it this person” “is it that person”. And it took them LONG to figure it out.

Another reason for the rating was the amount of characters in this. You would think that since it’s the last book, I would be familiar with everyone but

I really enjoyed this finale! A lot of politics but I love Alex and Sage’s relationship so I didn’t mind it so much.

The Traitor’s Kingdom is the third (and final) book in The Traitor’s Circle series by Erin Beaty. I have to tell you that I’ve been waiting to get my hands on this book since the end of book two and this was everything I was hoping it would be as a wrap up for Sage and Alex…as well as all their friends. No spoilers ahead for this book.

Sage is now an Ambassador representing Demora in talks with Kimisara to avoid a war and Alex is now a Major leading the Norsari that are tasked with protecting her

This book was just simply perfection! After adoring both of the previous books, I was slightly apprehensive that this wouldn't live up to expectations, or wouldn't be the perfect ending to the series, but it did not disappoint, at all! Following the explosive conclusion of The Traitor's Ruin, Sage is coming to terms with her injuries, and new position as ambassador. She luckily has Clare to rely on, but she herself is grieving the loss of her fiance, Lieutenant Gramwell, who died trying to help, ...more

I tried to make this book last as long as possible- how are we already at the end?? I'm not ready!

This was a great conclusion to the trilogy. The characters were well-developed and we switch between a couple third person POVs to help keep things interesting. The romance is still bomb af and the plot is full of traitors, conspiracies, assassination attempts, and other such fun things. We got some new characters and further insight into some old characters which was interesting. Honestly, I know t

Beautiful! I honestly can't think straight right now, feel somehow drunk with all those emotions!
I can truly say I'm satisfied. Of course I miss that story already! But, for real, it's one of the best series young adult-ish I've ever read. Actually one of two. With my hand on my heart - Erin Beaty is next to lovely Tahereh Mafi my favorite writer. It's ridiculous how they both know what words exactly should be used in every damn scene. Love them, love theirs books very very much!

The Traitor's Kingdom is the third and final installment in author Erin Beaty's Traitor Trilogy. As the story unfolds, Sage Fowler has taken up her new job as ambassador to Casmun while her fiancé, Major Alex Quinn, has taken charge of the Norsari. Thanks to the fact that Alex is unable to marry until he turns 24, things aren't exactly perfect between the couple who are separated by great distances. But, to be fair, that has been t

I loved this conclusion to the trilogy! Enough action to keep it interesting without it being a repeat of battle scenes from the previous two books. Lots of inner character work as the mains each grapple with trauma and loss from the first two books and work in their relationships to overcome that. Alex and Sage are heart eyes forever. I felt like every character got an ending I was happy with and made sense. The only thing I didn’t like about this book was how fraught the relationship was betwe ...more

This book series has been a mess. The first book was all over the place in quality but there was potential. Sadly, the quality just declined. In this third installment, almost nothing happens. People sit around and talk. Plot points are recycled from other books in the series (and this book in the series especially felt like bits and pieces of much better novels I have read). More forgettable side characters. More bland romance (I swear half this book is driven by the lead characters’ desire to ...more

I find the plot twist so soon that the whole ending seems flat. I think I expected more than this for the last book. Sage and Alex were kind of annoying about some issues and miscommunication.

So goodness gracious I want a freaking Alex Quinn and plus his and Sage Fowler's story in this trilogy is one of a kind. These books should be read. Plus many have to meet Alex since he's seriously adorable, loyal, cute, funny, protective and many other things. And Sage is just the same which makes them perfect for one another.

Okay OTP "rant" over 😅😍

This will be short because all I can say is this book was a bit slow at first but then the more it went on the more I was getting into it and then

So I finally decided to finish this trilogy! This book was the perfect ending and it was everything I wanted and more!

There isn’t many books that make me giddy. Sage and Alex are adorable. They go through a lot together but always remain loyal and lean on one another for support. They have their fights but everything is worth it in the end. They are perfect and just make me so happy!

There is a lot of growth throughout each book for Sage and Alex but also a lot of the other characters. I also enj

Why can't this have been written by a different author? It's got all the trappings for a wonderful trilogy. I just needed something more.

Alex was great, Sage was always doing her own thing without telling anyone, Casseck was basically non-existent...ugh. It had so much potential. All the reader was thinking about was when they were going to get married. There was so much planning for the war, but all I was wanting was something to happen with their relationship.

Will I read it again? Maybe. Doe

The Traitor’s Kiss was the book that got me back into reading and YA fantasy, so this series will forever hold a special place in my heart. I do wish the second and third books had been more focused on the romance, though. The sexual tension in these books is SO damn delicious and that’s really where (IMO) Beaty’s strength as a writer lies. With The Traitor’s Kingdom, there’s just too much exposition interrupting the pacing of the story for it to truly succeed as a political drama and who the ba ...more

The conclusion to the Traitor's Circle was a pretty good conclusion in the fact that everything seemed to have closure. I will admit that this book did not hold my attention and it was hard to want to pick it up to read it again. The season being, I am not a huge fan of books full of political stories and how to run the kingdoms. There was few action scenes and not enough suspense for me. I did enjoy Sage not being as whiny as she was in the 2nd book. I would recommend the first book to this ser ...more

I loved the first two books in The Traitor's Circle trilogy so much, and this final installment matches all the wonderful energy, action, and romance of the first two, and then piles a huge amount of intrigue, female friendship and ultimately self-understanding into the mix. Erin Beaty has created such a fantastic world for Sage and Alex to meet in and grow in, that it's one of those books you want to race through to see what happens while also wanting to savor each page. Summary:
A great finale to this series in which the stakes are increased ever higher and the conflict is very intriguing, along with an ending that wraps up the story well, yet still leaves things that the author can return to if she wishes.

Overall, this final book solidified The Traitor’s Circle trilogy as being a new favorite of mine. The action, conflict, drama, and stakes are all amped up from the second book. Each book expanded upon the last in terms of character growth and struggl

It’s funny when you start a series, and as time goes by your reading preferences start to change.

This is not my usual choice of reading currently, as a few years ago I was a little less picky. There’s is no magic, and it is heavily focused on politics (as well as romance) which is something that doesn’t appeal to me anymore. But that being said I feel like Erin was still able to write this story in a way that can be entertaining for many readers.

What drew me into the series was the big plot tw

“ Shes in the library, where else?”

The final book of the Traitor’s Circle definitely did not disappoint, one of the biggest things for me to enjoy a series by the end, is the conclusion of the whole series. I was left feeling satisfied, happy and definitely a little misty by the end of the epilogue.

I think one of my favorite aspects about this book and series are the characters. I found I could easily relate to Sage, since she has a love of learning and reading and can always be found in the li

OH HOW I LOVED THIS SERIES.

I question why it took me so long to get to this. I had heard mixed things, but should have trusted my gut. After I picked it up I never looked back. Perk of waiting so long? I barely had to wait to have all three books in my hands. A top series of 2019.

A stunning conclusion to the series, I took a long time to finish this book.

It was one of the better young dystopian adult novels, and I love that the setting is during historical England.

Anyhow, find this book dragging at some bits, but the character of Sage had been redeeming enough for me to continue the story.

I think I love book 1 the best in this series. Book 3 is quite OK, but still the writing is most loved when we were first introduced to Sage.
