First honest-to-Crom two-parter! I’m still so super struck at how serialized all this has been.

Action Comics #7-8 (“I don’t STOP! I DON’T GIVE UP!”)

I really love how serialized these are ending up being.

Action Comics #5-6 (These Are The Names. And This Is The History Of The Mission. And How The Mission Was Accomplished.)

These are still too damn fun.

I love how semi-serialized these are sometimes.

Action Comics #3-4 (“Commence Dwarf Star Lensing”)

Tower of the Elephant will always rule.

The recent announcement that Savage Sword of Conan is coming back got me wanting to reread some of these. I still think the Busiek/Nord years are the better adaptations but whoooooo BOYEeee are these still fun as hell.

Action August starts in earnest with Action Comics #1-2. Just still the rawest shit imaginable.

1966: Hearts In Atlantis (just information)

This one is really rippin’ so far.

I had forgotten how sloooooow this one’s opening chapters are but boy howdy did I ever get a charge once Ted started breakerin’ and name-dropping The Beam.
