Oh gosh I haven't updated in awhile. I'll start with the books I've read so far this year and then go back and add the ones I read in the rest of 2010. :)

Skurnick says you're either a Meg, Polly, or a Vicky girl. I am a Vicky girl. (This is my read-a-few-essays-before-bed book).

it took 50 pages before I decided not to throw the book on the train tracks. I dislike most of the characters and hate the narration.

I'm working on finishing books I started earlier in the year, so I'm back to this one. :)

read two chapters, and one of them is reminiscent of The Baby-Sitters Club - here are 100 people whom you will forget in 2 minutes.

The change in narrator was bothering me, but it turns out there's a reason.

A few characters I thought had bowed out have made reappearances...I have guesses as to what will happen but I'm not allowed to look!

I also purchased Treason's Shore this weekend, and glimpsed at the first page - I can't wait to get to it!

I hope to finish this tonight, but I won't start The King's Shield until Sunday. Hopefully the wait doesn't kill me!

my aunt told me to read this because she's from a nearby town in Iowa, and I obliged.

cute so far, but I keep reading Charmain's name as "Chairman" and that gets confusing. :)

I know I just reread this in October, but I've been thinking about Meg recently and I will probably get revision of book two from library.

I got a new library card yesterday and this is one of the books I checked out.

This book feels really dated in some parts -- more than the rest of the Austin books.

Some of the anecdotes I've already read on his blog, but it's still quite entertaining so far.

I picked this up to reread yesterday. I still love Vicky Austin.
