Wow...this book is making me emotional. I have a lump in my throat and...sniff, sniff...damn allergies!!!

Kind of slow going - I'm not much of a historical romance girl (though I have loved a few). I get a little bogged down by the way they talk and their actions. And it looks like this think may be 544 pages? I'll be reading this forever!!!

So for all my negativity, I'm actually totally into this right now....mostly because I want some freaking answers. I hope I get at least a few before the cliffy!!

WTF is wrong with this girl? Yeah, she may be 17, but at 17 don't you have any brains in your head, or a spine, or even the slightest inclination to say "whoa, this shit doesn't make sense and someone better be answering some questions". Dumb, dumb, dumb girl!!

Sweet Jesus, what this book is doing to me. The encounter with Marit and the concert...I'm a freaking mess. This is just saw raw and beautiful. Le sigh!!

SCORE....it took to 57%, but I finally found the word "preternatural". I've been on the lookout. I have not read one Koontz book that doesn't use it...and there is in all it's glory.

This is really good - very suspenseful. True Dean Koontz at his best. Just haven't had much time to read, so it's taking FOREVAH!!!

Ahhhh...I forgot how much I loved Mr. Koont'z writing style. But I do have to say - made it this far without seeing some form of the word preternatural. That's a record. I always used to giggle when that word would ALWAYS seem to appear by like 6-10 pages in without fail. I'm not sure if I'm disappointed...I'll keep looking for it!!

Holy crap - this book is 464 pages....welp, I'm going in. See you on the other side!!

It's taken me a bit to get into this one...I was just merrily going along thinking this is like about 8 billion other books of this type I've read...then I realized I'm 53% and my tummy is a little in knots. I actually feel nervous for where this is all going - all the secrets and little frosty nuggets of knowledge leading to the revelations.

OMG - this book is looooooooong and the burn is sloooooooow!! 55% and they just kissed.

Grrr....if people would just not keep secrets because they "assume" the other person wouldn't understand!! Spill your guts and let the chips fall where they may I say!!
