Wow...Anne Malcom's writing is exceptional!!

So so good!

High school kids can really just be evil horrible beings!! Chillingly evil!

Quickly invested in this one. The writing, plot and characters are very engaging! Plus, I love snark!!!

So many tears...like little ninjas are chopping onions underneath my eyes! I am shattered. I know who I want Emma to be with, but that doesn't make any of this okay. It's like I'm living this right with her!!!

I have to put this down and walk away for a bit. This really hurts my heart!!!

I have forgotten how precious and innocent little children are! I am giggling like a loon at the sweetness of how their minds work!!

I want nothing more than to hug Aiofe close to me and protect her fragile little heart. She's only 6 freaking years old, and the things she's already had to deal with are mind-boggling. She and Teddy (the "imaginary" ever-expanding Teddy Bear) seriously need to just come live with me. We'd have awesome living room forts!!!

I just fell completely and irrevocably in love with Tom! He just took Geraldine to his dad's apartment to treat her to a surprise, introduced her to the doorman, and asked the doorman to call upstairs in ten minutes to see if she needed a cab - all to make her feel comfortable!! Le sigh!

What an interesting story. I have no idea where it's going, but I without a doubt, 100% love this little girl, Rosie. She has a beautiful heart of gold for one so young!!

I am totally getting into this now that I've heard Damian's back story!!

I am so anxious for some answers!! I'm gonna have to sit o my hands so I don't go searching for spoilers!

So many fancy words....but the story is definitely piquing my interest!!!

Okay, we are going to have a problem if the big words continue, lol. Page 1 of Chapter 1 and I've had to look up 3 words...wtf is callipygian. I get it. You're a logophile. Now let's move on!!! Please someone tell me this doesn't continue throughout the whole story. I want to be entertained, not educated...I'm so plebeian and pedantic. See I know some big words!!

I can already predict where this one is going. Not that that's a bad thing - reading so many books, it's hard to find something "new". So, it's all about how well it's done, and I absolutely love the way Leylah Attar tells a story (I'm pointing at you, "Mists").
