I love all the book discussions on here but I’m especially grateful we don’t all agree all the time. I’ve read a lot of creepy scenarios in books and if everyone liked the same books all the time, I think I’d be getting paranoid 👀😂. Diversity is amazing in reading tastes too.

Lies I tell myself: The TBR doesn’t drive me, I drive the TBR 👀😂

My TBR is out of control, but one of my besties pointed out if it brings me joy to continue to find new books and add to it, I should continue to fluff my list to my heart's content. For anyone else who needs that support to keep adding to a super long TBR, you're just fluffing and giving yourself joy. 🥰

I love how they've been able to open up to each other.

I love that the h is emotive and specifically flabbergasted (such a great word) while he’s barely showing any emotion as he asks her to come back.

Friday Me: I’m going to take a break from adding books to my TBR for just a few days til I read it down some.

Monday Me: *ignoring TBR count while clicking on my friends’ updates and adding all morning after adding all weekend*

Is there an intervention protocol for adding too many books to your TBR? Maybe my family can lock me in a room with a bunch of pizza and cupcakes until I correct this?

Friends to lovers where the H has been celibate for two years, which “conveniently” is when the h moved to town, be still my heart! 😍

I think if DNFing had a theme song it would be the Facts of Life theme song, but maybe I’ve just tried too many books today.

Do you ever want to read a sub-genre and you keep trying but your reading mood is like "nope, you're not in charge here, I am"? Cause I've finished 2 contemporaries in the last 3 weeks and not for lack of trying them. Back to everything but real life I guess...

If a friend is slumping and asks for ideas to snap it, I can list all sorts of ideas and encouragement. When I haven’t finished the last 7-10 (I lost count somewhere) attempts, I’m all “here let me try this book that’s mostly like these other two books I already DNF’d and screw all my reading experience” 🤷‍♀️😂

Some days you add a bunch of books on the TBR and others you knock a bunch off. It’s still never gonna be finished though 🤷‍♀️😂

This author just finds fantastic ways to write intimacy between her characters

This has had some definite positives but I’m not fully engaged because of the writing style and that’s disappointing

Somehow back to school has translated to less reading time instead of more so far... I am liking this, I have a lot of questions though.

Choosing what to read next is too hard right now so a friend and I each chose five books off our tbrs at random and we’re committed these are our next attempts. May the book gods have mercy on our souls 😂👀🤞

For my GR friends who also love Alice Coldbreath's Prizefighter series, the new one just released!

I love the hero, he’s so respectful and protective of women.

I think I take a lot less chances on books than most of my GR friends. I both want to branch out more and I'm cool with all my spoiler-hunting, avoidance methods.

Rereads for the win. Sometimes you need a book brain reset.

Still slowly working through this behemoth of stories. Some are definitely more my type than others, but I think there are some for everyone who likes alien romance in here.

These novellas are excellent. I can’t wait to read more from this author esp since this was her debut!

I really liked story one of this volume! Completely safe and the romance is sweet with a devoted demon. Excited to continue this new to me author.
