thank you to mediocre romance books for getting me out of my reading slump !!

i hope having watched the movie before reading this doesn’t ruin this for me because i’m liking it so far…

i think i’m addicted to goodreads because while it was down i went to sleep and had a dream about it being back up and finally having a dark mode.

i just completed my reading challenge for the year and would just like to say thanks to my mom for financially fuelling my addiction to books <3

i feel like i will never figure out my rating system … and even if i did i would have to change every rating of every book i have ever read and even the thought of that is overwhelming.

i am somehow stunned as if i didn’t obviously know what was gonna happen like the build-up and intensity…. literally on the edge of my seat

i borrowed the fist book in the pretty little liars series from my library just to give it a go and i returned it same day because within 30 minutes of me reading it referenced tiktok and it felt so out of place i had to stop and i’m so confused ???

guys this is why i don’t read synopsis for books i’m glad i didn’t for this one it’s basically a spoiler like i don’t need to know all that

guys idk what half of this means but i am enjoying myself *fingers crossed* that continues

i’m in the biggest reading slump of MY LIFE right now and instead of ya know … actually picking up a book and reading it i decided to start watching all of the star wars movies and to buy more books. i don’t know what that says about me but i feel like it’s a red flag 😭

this already feels so well crafted and i’m really loving it so far

you ever read a book with a reveal or twist that shocks you and then you go to the reviews and everyone says it was predictable or they saw it coming and then you question your own intelligence for a while …. cause me.

i’m excited i already really like it …

i am so financially irresponsible when it comes to buying books. i can’t restrain myself. it’s a real problem.
