Really good information on literature during Trajans era. Dio Chrysostomos, Tacitus and Plutarch all published in his reign, and I think Bennett may be right in calling it a rennaissance.

This book is incredibly dense. Still better than the one about Galerius in the same series, however. I like it, however much of a slog it is to read.
