Dante envisions Trajan ascending from hell due to the intercession of Pope Gregory, if I understood well.

He compares conscience to language.

At one point, he comes close to presenting the Misesian/Hayekian argument against positivist methodologies. Very interesting.

Paradiso is too political, in my opinion, although it has some beautiful passages.
