So far I have to agree with what other book tubers have said, the magic system in this book is extremely unique! I am also loving how quickly my mind has imagined what the city of Luthadel looks like!

If this book does not jump start me back into a reading groove and pulls me out of the agony that my recent reads have put me in, then I am in a huge predicament!

Well...now that is something I was not expecting!

Could this story be redeeming itself?!

So after Aelin went on and on throughout the start of the book about how she needs to save a certain character, and risks her life to save that character. When this other character shows up at a completely random moment Aelin completely ignores, dismisses and even sends the character that she saved and risked her life for away... WTF?!?!

Feeling slightly ticked off at the fact that a certain character has to be kept alive for plot line purposes while logic and tactics indicate that he should be put down at the first chance that our protagonists get.

Have heard mixed reviews about this book...Heir of Fire surprised me by being a lot better than what I had expected and I am extremely curious as to what fate has in store for our characters! So, we will see how I find this book!!

Going to be alternating this book with Heir of Fire, since this is just a collection of comics it does not need my full attention and will serve as a much needed break whenever I feel I must relax from all of the drama that goes down in ToG.
