Avid reader > Recent Status Updates

This is the sort of read where I know if I stop I may never come back to it. As if I lose momentum it will be hard to find it again. It provokes a giggle from me here and there so it is an interesting read. At this point I’m wondering where the story is headed, I’m excited and anxious to find out.

This read is a complex one. I feel to call It’s quick often yet I keep reading on. Maybe because it’s slight slow paced. One thing is for sure it’s a very funny read and for that reason alone, heading towards a 4 star read. Jake’s dad has be constantly laughing. Great characters and many funny moments in this story so far.

Losing some momentum and just want to get to the end now. Still a good read, however I feel it’s slightly dragging at this point.

Definitely on track to finish this read, within the next 2 days. I’m enjoying the relationship dynamics between the main characters, eager to find out what happens in the end.

Had to start the book over because I had left so much time. But now I’ve caught up and well on the way to finishing this book.

Some of what I’m reading I vaguely remember, but nonetheless I will continue to reread these chapters. Hopefully this time around I’ll finish the book, as I’ve been able to pick back up momentum.

Lots of confusion as I’ve started up this book again. This is why once you start something you should push through because I hade to go back nearly 4 chapters to pick up from a place I remember. But I’m nearly back on the right track now.

I stopped reading this book at around 60% and didn’t return until 3 months later. At this point It’s clear I just lost momentum cause this is a decent read.

Im sooooo close to finishing 😩🎊 as I commented earlier some of the things these characters are thinking or saying are just so silly. Like why do you need to burn down a villa you have just arrived at because ur Mrs is looking sad ? Or why are you angry at the sun she got a sunburn and has a bit of a red face, like put on suncream and stop the drama.

Getting better, not as hard at this point to finish this read.

My issue was the writer dragging the same storyline. Like we get it they are falling in love he doesn’t want to leave her to go to work. But you don’t need to repeatedly say it, it’s repetitive and left me bored.

Also what was that BDSM part about 😂, super random for me and not needed at all. Skipped right through those parts.

At this point Im struggling to finish this book, as with each chapter I read, I’m finding the MCs cringe and alot of things has me rolling my eyes. The author is missing an element of realism. Essentially meaning how realist are the events that occur, which for this book I give a 2/5. Overall, im finding the MCs to be a bit annoying. I just want to finish as it’s always good to finish what you start.
