Can Daelyn listen in a life-or-death situation?

these are the most frustrating characters.

My problem with Daelyn is how she's just accepting that she's lived in Hesstia even though it's enemy territory. She's not questioning her loyalty or anything. Just accepting it. Granted, her father's prisoner, but it just seems like a flip was switched.

I swear a quarter of this is in italics. It's too much.

All these thoughts being italicized is kind of annoying/distracting

Why is there a person in the rental car??????

Aldrik and Kevon are literally the same person. One has magic while the other doesn't.

That's no coincidence that he's an alum and they both got accepted.

Not a fan of the characters. Some are fine on occasion.
