I didn't know this was a zombie novel. Not sure what I'm thinking right now.

We're reading it in my English class, and I'm reading for Mr. Zuss/Godmask, who represents God. It's really very fun to read and very thought-provoking.

I've decided that this book may be an accurate portrayal of Muslims in the Middle East, but not in America. I think the clan culture plays a bigger part there than it does here (well, it does, but it plays into the religion, as well.)

Warning!! A vaguely...okay, very...graphic scene about female circumcision is included. I was in pain just reading it...ugh.

Really well written and absolutely intriguing
