I don’t want spoil the story but I see a huge flaw in their plan. Well several actually. So I wonder which flaw is going to bring the whole plan crashing down around them?

I wonder if the next book will be Rayna’s story or the whole series will be told from Anders. I don’t mind, but at the same time I really want to know what is happening with Rayna right now.

Oh well that is awkward. She is going to regret that later.

Wow I didn’t think things could really get worse but here we are. That scene was intense.

I am beginning to think this story will not have a definite ending but a carry over ending. This is both good and bad.

I dunno Grandma but late to be giving your daughter a loving embrace after you left her to fight a vampire on her own.

I am not sure what Isabella did to her Grandma but clearly the woman hates her if she is prepared to send her grandchild out into the night when she suspects a vampire is nearby.

After a slow start the story is starting to get interesting. The writing is beautiful though.

I suspect Lockwood you just made a big mistake.

‘Um . . . what would have happened,’ I said, ‘if she wasn’t in a good mood?’
‘Best not to ask,’ Lockwood said. ‘I saw her chuck an agent into the river once,’ he went on reflectively. ‘Just lifted her up by the leg and tossed her in. Flo was in a good mood that day too, as it happens.”

Ok this is being picky but how have they not frozen to death? Maybe I missed the “wearing attic gear” description of their clothes at the start of the book? Or maybe it is was in their back pack? Perhaps their normal clothes can regulate the body temperature?

I am not sure why the other group wouldn’t have just continued to follow safely behind. Seems revealing themselves was more drama then necessary.

Not particularly happy with this turn of events.
