So happy to finally get sometime to read. I really need to finish one of the four books I'm reading.

This has been, so far, a very fun read. It's amazing how different in writing styles this to Dracula, both of which were written around the same time. Wilde is a lot better with creating characters I feel. While I doubt that any character that isn't Dorian, Lord Henry, or Basil will be of extreme importance every other character seems to be very real. Very interesting to compare with other books of the time.

A very interesting and fun read with great horror imagery though the writing is beginning to bother me some. At times it can be very awkward reading experience. Especially when it comes to scenes with the ever elaborate Van Helsing.

I can honestly say that this book can be quite unsettling at times. There are times in this book where I am actually bothered. Dracula is really exceeding my expectations so far.

The writing can be a bit meh though holy crap do I love the story so far. It's a horror book that is actually a bit horrific! I am loving this book.

Taking a short break from the short stories, I think.

I am very surprised and very delighted how much I am enjoying this book so far. I currently just got done visiting Castle Dracula and Jonathan Harker seems to be trapped and left behind.

The story is getting a bit more interesting. I really like the ideas and some of the more horrific imagery whenever Victor speaks of the monster or the labs. Shelley's writing style still bothers me though and the constant descriptions of nature, while it might serve a purpose, takes me out of the story.

I have finally gotten to the part where we truly are able to meet the Creature. I knew the actual story is really different from all the other adaptations though it is still a bit weird to see these differences. My only complaint so far with the book is Victor's overly vivid descriptions. I don't think Walton exactly cares to about the exact details of the blowing winds in the mountains.

Not sure how I feel about the book so far. While I find information of Victor's early years to be interesting, I am a bit disappointed with the lack of the Monster (Or the Creature) has been seen in the book. It is not as exciting I thought the book would be. At least, not yet.
