I finally have gotten to where Orlando went from being a he to a she, the reason I picked up the book in the first place.

So far, I have very mixed feelings on the book and I am not sure exactly why. While unnecessarily wordy at times, I enjoy the humor that Virginia Woolf applies. A lot of the visuals in my head aren't pleasing. When I read, I also storyboard. I see scenes happening in my head.

As I turn the pages closer to the end, I realize that this book is not what I was expecting go in. Nevertheless, I have learned so much about radio, the record industry, and civil rights movement.

Very interesting so far though I wish George would've covered rock n' roll much more than he did in the book. Nonetheless, his perspective is very fascinating. Just wish he would've discussed Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Little Richard, Frankie Lymon, Howlin' Wolf, and Muddy Waters a bit more.
