That was perhaps the biggest twist I've ever read! was NOT expecting that. WOW. what could happen now??

I'm really liking the narrator and the writing style so far.

Soon she will happily oversee scullery maids and table settings and the reupholstering of antique chairs at three different houses; which is all well and good. But if I were your age, I wouldn't be trying to figure out how to get into Carrie's shoes--I'd be trying to figure out how to get into Jake's."

It's boring so far. It feels like real life. Am I supposed to be impressed that it feels realistic? But that's not hard. And when I read a book, I don't want it to feel just like real life. What's the point? What's the message? Or even the entertainment? There aren't even interesting characters! I just met Midori, who's mildly interesting, but something about all the characters feels shallow.

"I straightened up and looked out the plane window at the dark clouds hanging over the North Sea, thinking of what I had lost in the course of my life: times gone forever, friends who had died or disappeared, feelings I would never know again."

"But you want to hear a secret, Parker? No one ever really stops feeling young. We may get a job and a husband and a house, but the whole adulthood thing is just a charade. We're all pretending to have grown up. You know what the cruelest object ever invented is? The mirror. It breaks the illusion."

Okay, I really like Alana. Is Parker gonna get with her at the end?

Very unique so far, and beautiful writing moments.

Jessica's back!!

Ugh I don't know enough about the villains and their motives to fear them. The protagonist seems to be just tagging along with others, making the story arc feel random and lacking tension. I don't care enough about the goal to be invested, and overall I'm emotionally disconnected.

Tbh I miss Jessica. I liked the dynamic she created. It was interesting! It challenged Richard!
I'm kinda bored with the storyline now, I don't know enough of what's going on to feel the suspense and compulsion to keep reading.

I don't like the direction the story is going. Like a lesser Gossip Girl. I really liked Laura Jean in the first one, and disliked Margot a bit, but now I feel the opposite!

Already I'm enamored by descriptions of London, and how Gaiman so perfectly captures the atmosphere of the city!

I'm bored

I don't like it that much so far... I don't hate it. The characters aren't distinctive, and even though I don't necessarily mind the tangent ramblings of the narrator explaining things, it creates a weird tone for the actual story (which is lacking so far).

I don't love the story at this point, but I really want to see Lara Jean develop as a character. Also, am I supposed to like any of the guys? Because I don't.

I'm not really liking this at all, but I'm determined to finish it to confirm my opinion.
