I've decided not to reread the next two plays that this course looks at. Macbeth I read several times for a paper I wrote and I know it well enough. And Antony & Cleopatra is probably one of my least favorites.

Making sure to have another listen/read of the plays before they are addressed in this. So, I've listened to the intro on the concepts of tragedy and the 4 lectures on Hamlet. Next up, Othello!

Really getting in to this now. Just took a second to get going.

Taking a break from The Red Queen to try something different. Recommended by my fave bookseller, I wanted something that would capture me. A detective novel set in 1912 Egypt with a fantasy element? Uhm, yes please!

I am going back and forth on giving this one up... Gonna keep with it a little longer, but it's not an easy read.

I am struggling with this one… not sure if it’s the lack of chapters, or it’s just not capturing me? I’ll give it a bit longer…

oh man... this book doesn't have chapters. Help.

I was a little annoyed with some descriptions in this book initially, but I'm in to it now. Understand why my dad read so many of this genre. Now that I've inherited his collection here in Oz (had to give away his books in Canada, couldn't ship them) I have a whole collection to read.

The audiobook for this is AMAZING. James Marsters is perfect. The story is gripping and I'm really enjoying it.

I can't decide if this book is too gothic for me, or too clever. But I often find myself utterly confused by what is happening.

This is much easier to digest with the audiobook, I must admit.
