Taking as much time as I can finishing this reread... was kinda hoping we'd get a book 6 announcement by now :/

"Take Pity" - very cool. Wish I'd read it in English; the Hebrew made it even harder to decipher. But a mysterious story nonetheless, really appreciated it after using the internet for guidance..

Gravedigger chapter is simply too good! Was waiting for that one and it did not disappoint.

So far so good. But I feel I can't be emotionally all-in on this due to the author's reluctance to kill off characters, which really should have happened at least twice or thrice by now. And it's not like death would be the darkest thing to happen in this book, it's very gruesome and cruel at times.

I think I might be too old for this? Or maybe I should read other stuff by Neil Gaiman, because right now it feels like he writes exclusively about a main character being taken to a hidden world with a wacky cast, which I'm sure is not the case. Right??

Every scene in The Sworn Sword is so iconic and memorable. I really like the pacing - a lot happens in a relatively short text yet it doesn't feel too dense.

Really liked the extensive explanation of the aliens' phsiology
