This is a challenging read.
I'm impressed with it, of course, like the concept and world development and characters, but it's not easy.
I love Robin though.

Great set-up. I like how quickly we get to the retreat.
I hate books that are titled like this and you don't get to the thing you are expecting until like 30% in something.
We're also setting up the MC nicely.

Jackson's ability to create characters you would fight for is unmatched.

One of my favorite thing about Jackson's stories is that she never holds back. That's certainly true here. Getting a gut punch of reality.
