it's taken 5 days to slog through 10 pages - I can only pray this horror of a 'fill-in' writer ends with this book! Being too lazy or incapable to create another character to replace Blair, this author simply shunts the role to Daviot. This is truly depressing, let the books RIP until or unless someone who truly understands the characters and the spirit wants to write them.

So glad I gave this a second look, a few days after finishing the 3 Rosie books. This is a very different novel, co-written by husband and wife. It is the classic travel-changes-you theme, with a fresh approach. Enjoying learning about the Camino de Santiago - Chemin Saint Jacques through these entries.

After two very fun books, the author surpassed himself - but this is it! An amazing book, 5 PLUS. The first books provide the context necessary to fully appreciate this one This one is fun and amazingly informative, a handbook of how-to for parents of all children, an education on the level of MUST-READ for all who tell themselves they are not prenudiced or already are 'inclusive'.

Two things strike me as I read this collection. First, the selections are more horror than sf or fantasy, as the sub-title promises. Second, it seems the line separates the skill level of nominees and winners is more like a gulf. Even if you're not a horror fan, read the winners at least! Alyssa Wong is brilliant, in conception and execution.
