Rereading! This is my favorite trilogy.

The thing that stands out to me the most is the convergence of technologies and science.

Synchronicity of science is a complex stew of discovery; radio communicaton is an example of how many chefs and ingredients it took to reach a product so useful that it quickly became common.

I am quite sure I've read this before; I don't remember when, but this book is very familiar. The author, Dubois, has a style of writing that I like very much.

From what I've just read, per Arthur C. Clark, people did expect the the Moon, Luna, to be very populated during the last century. One might puzzle why they stopped going to Luna for so long.
