Tomorrow's poem is going to be one of my favorites... I just know it. The thing it's from is something I LOVE and I cannot wait to read it. I know I shouldn't have peeked, but now that I have I AM SO EXCITED.

Finished May a couple days early because I won't be able to read the final two poems in time for when June starts! Here were the best poems of May... "Oft In The Stilly Night" by Thomas Moore, "Poem" by Simon Armitage, and "Happy The Man" by John Dryden. Special shout outs to Walt Whitman's "When Lilacs Last In The Dooryard Bloom'd" from "Leaves Of Grass" and "Earth - Song" by Ralph Waldo Emerson! Let's go, June!

Finishing the April portion of poems tonight because I won't be able to read this over the next couple days... Favorite poems of the month: "O Captain! My Captain!" by Walt Whitman and "6 A.M. Thoughts" by Dick Davis. Special shout outs though to "As You Like It: Act II, Scene VII" by William Shakespeare, "Nothing" by James Fenton, and "Quantum Est Quod Desit" by Thomas Moore. I liked so many poems from April!

The best poems of March (I had to finish them a little early) were "Ode (We Are The Music Makers) by Arthur William Edgar O'Shaughnessy and "Hamlet: Act III, Scene I" by William Shakespeare. Both very classic poems, but extra shout outs to "Death, Be Not Proud" by John Donne, "The Destruction Of Sennacherib" by Lord Byron, and "The Ship Of Death" by D.H. Lawrence. I clearly like a certain theme... Can you tell?
