This book is just too complicated for me to listen to in audio form. It' shot a fascination narrator, though, and I may return to it at a better time. It's very different than my favorites of Paul Russell's fiction

I had to give up on this one. The writing was sharply observed, and well phrased but the time period of the setting was just not that interesting to me for summer reading. I'll probably come back to it later.
