For a book of 800+ pages, I’m genuinely and pleasantly surprised at how the pace has been so consistently accelerating throughout the entirety thus far!

Paolini somehow managed to squeeze in moments enough to write characters with such depth to them during the calamity that has never died down. I find myself truly invested in them and their journey.

Highly recommend this to any science fiction readers!

The first chapter already has me drawn into this epic space fantasy novel! Hoping the rest of the book continues an upward trajectory in story-telling in the same way that the first chapter has captured my full attention.

I want to like this book, but it’s hard for me to stay on board with it. Poor writing, scattered story-telling, characters with little depth and no explanation behind the mysteries of the main character’s talents.
