Yet another pick for my adolescent literature class. An excellent book thus far.

The next two books in the series made it via mail so I can finally finish this one!

Enjoying reading this book for my social studies methods course at university.

I’m *this* close to saying I’ve read the series twice.

Reading this for my “classic” selection for my adolescent literature class. Excited to read what many deem the first “young adult” novel!

Reading for adolescent lit class as a literature circle book which means I’m only allowed to read up to page 135 this week. So far this 100% deserves the hype and has been on my TBR since 2017. I’m glad I get the opportunity to read it for credit at university! So far year 5 has had the most engaging material of any year in college thus far!

Starting this for my adolescent literature class! This is book #4 of about 14 for class. I have to say this might be the best class ever.

Book number 1 (out of ten) for my adolescent literature class this semester! We have been tasked with finding 10 books to read this semester. I am super excited to read the next 9 and if they’re half as good as this one, I’m in for a great semester!

I’m nearing the dramatic ending of this duology and I can say I’ve been enjoying this book as much as the first. George makes one pity—and perhaps almost love—a rather unloveable Emperor who has been (rightfully—at least in this historian’s opinion) vilified throughout history.
