Put it down back in February as my mind simply switched channels on me. It's a good book, but as more than one reviewer on various platforms as stated, overly dense. And for a military history, there's very little discussion on the course of operations. It's difficult to ascertain the true value of an Army, as Herr Rauchenstiener seeks to rehabilitate the reputation of the KuK if you deign to narrate actual combat..
