I’ve gone down a comparing Christie’s books and plays of the same stories rabbit hole. This book over 700 pages and I keep getting distracted by needing to re-read or newly read the novels...we might be here for a while. I should prob buy the ebook before the BPL takes it back lol

An Appointment With Death

A woman has been on screen and treated positively! However, she did act a lot like a man of the period to achieve this respect.

Well, we’ve now encountered one woman and she spent most of her time on screen being yelled at by her husband. :/ We also have 3 men in the same family who all go by their last name and are only distinguished by their military ranks, which are sometimes left off. However, we have also had this gem: “But, my dear old egg, didn’t Murbles tell you the snag?”

Trying to expand my Golden Age reading beyond just Christie. Hopefully there are women in this one?

Reading for the Shedunnit book club.

Some of these I’ve read before, but nice to have them collected together.

I’ve decided two of these chars are a lesbian couple. It better not be the lesbians who did it.

I do love Agatha Christie. And Mrs. Marple.

Not enjoying this one as much as the 2012 anthology. It’s darker, sadder, and makes less sense :/

The young artist dying trope cuts a little close to home but enjoying how similar and similarly silly Jessica Fletcher’s voice is to the TV show.

Because I need all the comforting fluff to get through this month!
