This was such a great first chapter!

Seriously regretting waiting so long to read this book!

Red has a badass attitude to survival, a refreshing insight to the horrors of this new world and isn't about to let her prosthetic limb slow her down in defeating it. I am already loving this post-apocalyptic take on the Little Red Riding Hood fairytale!

I REALLY don't want this to end but am also DYING to know how this is going to end! I sometimes have a hard time getting into sci-fi books but I think I have found a new favourite in this one!

Extensive character backstory, authentic scientific backing, prominent blood and gore, and suspense, suspense, suspense. There is not one single unlikable element about this book, so far!

That was the most horrific and gory scene I have ever had the pleasure of reading!

This was penned by the screenwriter for Jurassic Park and it show. It is already so cinematic and suspenseful whilst maintaining its great writing throughout. Early days, but I'm anticipating a five-star read!

Sleep has been hard to come down but I've spent my AM hours absorbed in this book and sipping on endless cups of coffee instead, so it hasn't been half bad.
