Havent updated here in a minute so let me tell ya. Im at work reading not working. I have some loose familiarity with Fulvia, her mother, & the san francisco anarchists of 100ish years ago but im excited about this story and Im glad its starting out simply as a daughter completely upset with her mother. Couldnt ask for a more sincere way to hear fulvias family story.

started reading the bread book

alright. part two was good and tense. pretty gross hearing the murder details.

found some links to the zines on libcom. one thing ive enjoyed about race traitor politics is understanding the limitations of anti-racism. from the opening editorial Abolish the white race - by any means necessary "anti-racism admits the natural existence of "races" even while opposing social distinctions among them" and "so long as the white race exists, all movements against racism are doomed to fail"

this far into the book and although its an entertaining fbi procedural drama, the focus is on one kidnapping case. this book could be retitled "hey im an fbi man and my job is stressing me out" rather than american predator.

i really enjoyed the opening death scene and the trauma horror of it lingering in the land and the character development. did not expect to learn so much about grapes or whatever.

Its pretty cute to hear about Lol & Robert as teenage punks then college kids attending some of the greatest concerts of their time. A digression, i was lucky enough to meet Lol during his book tour for this memoire. i had a sweet moment where he asked how i heard the cure & i told him about my father whom i was still grieving his loss. Lol said "your father has good taste" & complimented my name as he signed my copy

murder mystery detective drama that gradually becomes some paranormal rated r episode of Angel or some shit? im in

im not a big fan of vampire stories where the existence of vampires is public knowledge complete with treaties, states, and bureaucracies.
with that said, the vampire mythos are intriguing in this story. im very curious to learn more as the origins are less eurocentric and more aztec.

Read a few chapters after not reading this books for months. I don’t know why. I instantly remember why I love this book. Stories within stories within stories. There’s so much story going on, I didn’t realize how immersed I am in this world.

Hard to read because of the old white guy talk but I kinda like his shit talking so far.

I started over this morning after kinda forgetting what happened. The idea of a world where natural death, including old age, is cured is crazy. People “reset” and start over making their children insecure about having 20 something parents. Bizarre.

I have more than once in my time woken up feeling like death.

Betty Jo is such a strong contrast of a character. Did not see that coming.
